Arts4All Florida
is a private not‑for‑profit organization that promotes arts education for people with disabilities. We conduct art programs in schools, juvenile justice facilities, and community centers, and we showcase the work of artists with disabilities through exhibitions and performances.
About the Position Teaching Artist – Hybrid (Tampa, FL) – $25 an hour – Apply before 11/07/2025.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the classroom teacher to identify learning goals for each program.
Design curricula that align with Florida Standards or Florida Early Learning and Development Standards.
Acquire and manage supplies needed for the program.
Teach the scheduled art and adaptability lessons.
Complete student evaluations and program assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Education, Exceptional Student Education, or related field (or equivalent with one year of experience teaching Art or ESE).
Five years of teaching Art or ESE may substitute for a degree.
Experience teaching visual or performing arts to students with disabilities.
Effective behavior management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills
Experience teaching the visual or performing arts.
Experience teaching people with disabilities.
Soft Skills
Effective behavior management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Industry Knowledge
Knowledge of Florida Standards and Florida Early Learning and Development Standards.
Compliance This position may be subject to a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check.
