Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc has partnered with a global company to help them search and qualify candidates for their Mechanical Designer Position. Responsibilities
Design, modify, improve, & remodel cast, molded, machined, sheet-metal, welded or other parts and assemblies in SolidWorks. Complete design changes by using (ECN) engineering change process. Create and review prints for proper dimensioning, tolerancing, callouts, BOM’s and accuracy. Manage complex BOM’s to effectively implement changes across numerous product lines and SKU’s. Qualifications
Experience designing for manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, molding, fabrication, etc. Experience in SolidWorks (or comparable CAD systems) including advanced modeling. Experience with engineering change/revision control (ECN) or similar processing of product line changes. Excellent print comprehension and detailing skills. Intermediate PC skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and general computer system proficiency. Bonus: Associate’s (2-yr.) degree in mechanical engineering or similar This is a smaller division with a large company umbrella where you will work on a lot of complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
