Your Role:
Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to set up, prepare, and manage construction drawings
Prepare dimensional drawings, create, and modify base drawings
Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes
Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming conventions in accordance with company/client standards
Prepare project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output
Work on multiple projects at the same time to successful completion
Follow CAD standards, whether the customer's or Tetra Tech's
Work with project teams on drawings that meet and exceed the customer's requirements (bid and submittal phase).
Qualifications:
Associate degree in CAD Drafting or a related field from a technical trade school, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Proven experience using CAD platforms for civil drawings in compliance with client standards
Proficiency working with feature lines, grading objects, survey points, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks
Specialized Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer preferred
Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, listening, oral, and written abilities
Proficient in PC usage and associated software, including Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (or similar PDF tools)
Ability to generate layout drawings from sketches and specifications
Knowledge of standard drafting practices and procedures
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment
Strong time management and scheduling abilities
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Demonstrated success in meeting objectives and project requirements
