Interior Design Plans: Create floor plans, elevations, project specific details, and detailed interior layouts using CAD and 3D modeling software. Material and Finish Selections: Select the project finishes, lighting, and organize them into the project specifications. Specifications: Create the project specifications and interior finish schedules. Optimize Specifications: Research products and make project specification decisions to achieve the optimal cost to value. Frame Walks & Spec Changes: Attend project frame walks and document design changes. Marketing Floorplans: Create the marketing floorplans and site plans for the project. Trend Research: Stay up to date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and finishes. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in residential interior design or architecture firm or in a similar capacity with a home building or construction company. Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam REVU and other design software. Strong understanding of space planning, building systems, and residential construction. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a strong design sensibility and problem-solving mindset. Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 to $150,000 annually + Bonus This is the expected pay range, not a guaranteed salary. It reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the role. The actual salary range will depend on the candidate’s individual qualifications and overall fit for the position.
