We are looking for a passionate individual with 2+ years of design engineering experience with water/wastewater treatment plant projects or with industrial process piping design. Experience in water/wastewater plant process design including pump stations and mechanical components, industrial process experience would be ideal also. This CAD Designer position will be working on prominent water and wastewater treatment and pump station projects in the Central Ohio region, providing resilient and sustainable designs to repair aging infrastructure. Responsibilities

Develop construction drawings and coordinate with other disciplines for water resources projects. Ensure adherence to industry standards and client specification. Data Management

Organize and manage CAD files and associated data. Import and export data from various sources (e.g., GIS, field data). Maintain a comprehensive CAD library. Project Coordination

Collaborate with engineers, technicians, sub-consultants, and other teaming partners to ensure project accuracy and timeliness. Provide technical support and assistance as needed. Software Proficiency

Demonstrate expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Quality Control

Review and check CAD drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards. Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies. Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in civil engineering technology or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the water resources industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software. Strong understanding of water resources engineering principles and terminology. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with local and regional water resources regulations is a plus. Additional Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering preferred, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering could work based on experience Experience in water/wastewater plant design, including pump stations and mechanical components would be very helpful. Experience working in multidisciplinary environment coordinating with project teams including junior to senior level technical staff, CAD designers, subcontractors, and teaming partners Able to take direction on project objectives for multiple projects and to arrange workflow and priorities accordingly. This position may require occasional overtime work to meet project deadlines. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential. A strong understanding of engineering principles and practices is beneficial.
