As a CAD/Revit Plumbing Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate plumbing system drawings using
AutoCAD Fabrication MEP ,
Revit , and
Navisworks , while collaborating closely with PMs, engineers, and field teams to ensure constructability and code compliance. You'll play a key role in our BIM coordination efforts and bring innovative solutions to complex design challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Model and detail plumbing systems using AutoCAD Fabrication MEP (2023/2024), Revit (2023/2024), and Navisworks Produce drawings, schedules, layouts, and material requisitions for installation Utilize Bluebeam Revu and Procore for document management and collaboration Generate RFIs to resolve design conflicts and drive project clarity Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection sessions Create floor sleeve and wall penetration drawings with precise dimensions and elevations Conduct site visits (minimum 2x/month) to gain installation insights and support field teams Collaborate with PMs, field foremen, engineers, and GCs to ensure seamless project delivery Assist with field turnover packages and project documentation Apply IMCOR’s drafting standards and best practices to all design work Required Software Skills:
AutoCAD Fabrication MEP 2023/2024 Revit 2023/2024 Navisworks 2023/2024 Procore Requirements & Qualifications:
2+ years of CAD/Revit experience in plumbing or MEP design (required) Proficiency with 3D modeling and BIM workflows Understanding of plumbing systems, contract drawings, and specs Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Effective communicator with a proactive, team-first mindset Ability to identify and resolve design conflicts independently Field experience or exposure to plumbing installation is a plus Comprehensive Health Benefits
