Automotive Service Advisor / Writer
DARCARS Nissan of College Park is now seeking an
Automotive Service Advisor / Writer
to present, consult, and sell automotive warranty products and repair services to customers while adhering to manufacturer schedules and company policy.
Responsibilities
Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle information.
Advise customers on the care and value of maintaining their vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
Generate and provide customers with a complete and accurate estimate of repair orders.
Establish and communicate completion times to customers and technicians.
Answer incoming service calls.
Maintain and schedule service appointments.
Follow prescribed procedures for customer post‑follow‑up resulting in return visits, increased sales, and excellent customer satisfaction index (CSI).
Follow the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines and procedures.
Conduct business with high integrity to maintain the manufacturer CSI and DARCARS specified goal(s).
Comply with all federal, state and local laws, and company policy regarding the safeguarding of customer, company and manufacturer information, as well as customers’ vehicle and property.
Manage a fast‑paced work environment with limited supervision.
Have strong customer service, phone and computer skills.
Qualifications
Previous automotive Service Advisor experience highly preferred.
Minimum of eighteen years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass pre‑employment screening (background).
