As a Sr. Product Designer, you'll be trusted to deliver a best-in-class digital experience in an environment that is energetic and collaborative. The Sr. Product Designer is responsible for designing experiences for the tools that CDW provides our sales professionals. This role translates seller needs, business goals, and technical feasibility into an effective design solution. What You’ll Do Design strategy — Work closely with design leadership to ensure that experiences align with our global design strategy. Project leadership — Work hand in hand with product managers to define the vision. Synthesize inputs —e.g., product leadership, market analysis, user feedback, metrics, and usability findings — to identify and define new concepts and solutions to seller problems Utilize the Design Thinking process as a framework for product discovery and innovative problem solving Collaborate cross functionally with internal/external stakeholders to help define, develop and deliver best-in-class experiences Take command of the experience and embrace product ownership in concert with Product Management and Engineering Support product and engineering teams with design and experience needs throughout different phases of the project Able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment, juggle multiple projects, and prioritize work according to roadmap discovery and delivery schedules Participate and facilitate design critiques, executive design reviews, workshops with peers, as well as reviews across disciplines and with executive leadership Proactively stay abreast of industry trends, standards and best practices, consistently re-evaluating current implementations and identifying opportunities for improvement Conduct user-centered interviews, research, and testing using advanced research methodologies and techniques Synthesize testing and research, and propose recommendations and enhancements to our site experience and roadmap Work closely with analytics teams to interpret quantitative/qualitative customer data and inform thoughtful design decisions Present recommendations in the appropriate fidelity to effectively communicate ideas and proposed customer experiences Serve as mentor and coach, and aid in the development of design coworkers What We Expect Of You Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, HCI, or related design discipline, with 5+ years of professional design experience Master’s degree in human computer Interaction is a plus A portfolio of work demonstrating complex problem solving Experience with enterprise systems design, working within a constrained design environment such as Salesforce’s Lightning Design System. Expertise in working with cross-functional teams with strong advocacy of user’s experience Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate design decisions, navigate multiple perspectives, redefine existing experiences at scale, as well as imagine new features and experiences Demonstrated experience with designing user experiences across various design modalities Experience designing for sales enablement tools or seller workflows highly preferred Strong familiarity with interaction design principles, usability testing, human centered research, standards and best practices Attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders including senior leadership Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members including product managers, engineers and delivery managers Proven track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously and negotiating workflow, while meeting deadlines Familiarity with web standards/guidelines and designing for accessibility (WCAG 2.1) Expertise in design, wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma) Pay range: $103,000 - $170,000 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ CDW is an equal opportunity employer.
