Community & Social Media Manager
to lead all organic social and community-building initiatives across our core channels. This is a
ground-up build —we’re starting from scratch. Candidates must have proven experience
launching and scaling commercial brands
and developing social presence from zero to traction. It’s a
hands-on strategist
role: equal parts creative producer, community architect, and cultural translator. You’ll develop and execute our organic social strategy, own the content calendar, produce social-first creative, and lead influencer partnerships that authentically extend the brand into the baseball and softball worlds. You’ll collaborate directly with the CMO (brand/creative direction) and Paid Media Strategist, but operate independently day-to-day—driving momentum, consistency, and measurable growth across all channels.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute a content and community strategy that grows audiences on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Plan, schedule, and publish content that aligns with product launches, brand moments, and cultural trends. Create or direct short-form video, visual, and written content optimized for each platform. Engage with followers, creators, and fans to turn engagement into active brand participation. Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with athletes, creators, and micro-influencers aligned with the brand voice. Track organic performance, engagement growth, and community health to inform ongoing strategy. Partner with paid media and brand teams to align organic and paid storytelling.
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience managing brand social media or community for consumer, lifestyle, or sports brands. Proven success launching or scaling new commercial brands from the ground up. Skilled in short-form video production and native platform editing. Deep understanding of sports, creator culture, and digital storytelling. Strategic thinker who can also execute independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
