RESPONSIBILITIES As a Trust and Safety Content Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and security of platforms. Your responsibilities will include reviewing user‑generated content and conducting thorough investigations into potential violations of our community guidelines and policies. By working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users.
Content Monitoring: Regularly review user‑generated content on platforms—including text, images, videos, and other media—to ensure adherence to community guidelines and policies.
Escalate Items for Investigation: Perform preliminary investigations during content review and elevate medium and high‑risk scenarios.
Policy Enforcement: Apply company policies consistently and fairly to determine appropriate actions, such as content removal, user warnings, or account suspensions.
Documentation and Reporting: Record investigation outcomes and actions taken, prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders, and maintain detailed records of all cases.
Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams—including Legal, Customer Support, and Product—to resolve complex cases and enhance platform safety.
Trend Identification: Monitor and analyze emerging trends in user behavior to proactively identify potential risks and recommend policy improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated experience in content moderation, investigations, or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Capability to handle sensitive and potentially distressing content with professionalism and discretion.
Proven ability to maintain objectivity when managing sensitive or impactful content.
Adept at working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to upholding community standards.
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in digital forensics or online investigations.
Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to online content.
Proven ability to manage and evaluate diverse content types across various mediums.
Familiarity with social media platforms and the dynamics of online communities.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
