Stamp upwards of 3,000 cases with official USDA stamp to ensure clearance for inspection Monitor and load containers for shipment using a pallet jack Coordinate with internal staff and third-party service providers to load products into on-site containers based on USDA specification Work closely with on-site USDA officer to ensure compliance with established guidelines Visit USDA Veterinary Office for processing of paperwork daily Deliver and pick up paperwork from various governmental agencies as needed Pick up product from vendors as assigned Make deliveries to customers, freight forwarders, and shipside locations as needed Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors Accurately collect customer payments and manage customer paperwork including signed invoices, credits, inspection documentation, etc. Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues and damages in a timely manner Collaborate with management and International sales representatives to communicate customer concerns Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Punctuality, good verbal, problem solving, and listening skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Goal oriented with a positive attitude and ability to read, write and understand English Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures Basic computer skills Note:
