The Global Corporate Events team produces extraordinary experiences that connect, inspire, and celebrate. We manage a wide range of internal and executive events—from global summits to immersive brand experiences—bringing Mattel’s mission and culture to life.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end event production for global and executive-level meetings, conferences, and special events.
- Partner with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to shape event strategy, define key messages, and align creative direction with business objectives.
- Oversee multiple event producers and cross‑functional partners, providing mentorship, guidance, and quality assurance across all stages of production.
- Manage full event lifecycles—including concept development, budgeting, production timelines, logistics, vendor management, and on‑site execution.
- Source, negotiate, and manage global vendor and agency partnerships to deliver best‑in‑class experiences within budget.
- Oversee event budgets, financial forecasting, purchase orders, and invoicing; ensure fiscal accountability and strategic allocation of resources.
- Develop innovative event solutions leveraging technology, design, and storytelling to elevate attendee engagement.
- Conduct site inspections and assess venues based on strategic goals, cost efficiency, and guest experience.
- Serve as the lead producer on‑site, ensuring flawless execution, brand consistency, and seamless guest experiences.
- Provide post‑event analysis, performance metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in event production, live experience design, or corporate meeting management.
- Demonstrated success leading high‑profile corporate or global events with executive‑level audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills—capable of coaching and inspiring junior producers and project teams.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional creative sensibility and operational discipline.
- Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong executive presence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Cvent, project‑management, or production tools preferred.
- Strong budget management, negotiation, and vendor‑relations experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
