The role you will contribute
The Director of Creative Services is responsible for leading all creative efforts and visual aesthetics to advance organizational goals and priorities. This position manages design and creative development for various media, including presentation, print, and digital. Additionally, this role oversees both permanent teams and outsourced design services based on project needs. In addition, this position leads the creative vision for the team and executes design around brand standards and product marketing campaigns. This role also involves hands‑on designing in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Contributes to the overall creative output and organizational impact through effective leadership and execution.

- Manages the creative services team, including training, performance management, project assignment, and resource allocation.
- Develops and maintains tools and processes that enable the creative team to deliver high-quality work to internal stakeholders.
- Supports the Executive Director of Creative Services in planning, budgeting, and staffing allocation for the department.
- Identifies and provides innovative solutions that support strategic initiatives and priorities while managing financial and human resources.
- Executes creative strategies necessary for the successful facilitation of corporate‑wide creative initiatives.
- Creates and maintains brand guidelines, ensuring ideas and designs are produced timely and within budget.
- Develops and produces a wide range of digital and print projects, including websites, email marketing templates, social media ads, infographics, and interactive media.
- Conceptualizes and creates print ads, collateral, direct mail, and digital advertising.
- Reviews program results, extrapolates key learnings, and recommends strategic revisions.
- Remains actively involved in hiring and training creative staff.
- Manages client commitments and travels as required for business development.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years experience in design
- Strong design and user experience skills required as well as natural disposition towards customer service and relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility, and adaptability to change a must.
- Must be able to work onsite in an open environment.
- Proficiency and Understanding of digital media trends and technology tools.
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Share Point
- Deep understanding of Design Thinking methodologies with the ability to provide creative direction and team alignment for Empathy Research, Co‑Creation, and Iterative Prototyping.
- Exceptional relationship building and leadership skills and effectiveness in managing creative teams.
- Ability to navigate through an organization to identify key decision makers and share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization to achieve desired results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present on‑stage in front of large audiences.
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations; self‑motivated and resourceful with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Analytical, creative, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed deadlines.
- General business knowledge and broad knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- Strategic, creative leader with strong project management skills and ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Strong understanding of media mix optimization and ability to analyze performance to shift and reallocate resources based on performance metrics.
- Ability to effectively articulate marketing strategy, KPIs and how creative execution supports and achieves business goals.
- Experience leading creative ideation and overseeing the creative development process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Wrike project management software.
