Responsibilities
  • Design and layout fire sprinkler systems
  • Prepare detailed drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists
  • Ensure designs meet NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams
  • Process revisions, submittals, and permitting documentation
  • Support project schedules through accurate and timely design work
Qualifications
  • 3-10 years of fire sprinkler design or fire protection experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and relevant building/fire regulations
  • Experience with HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK, AutoCAD, or similar software
  • Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • NICET certification
