Position Overview

Our Graphic Designer’s main responsibility is to assist in conception and designing of the internal and external marketing and communications for the company. This includes but is not limited to presentation visuals, displays, packaging, carding, signage and promotional materials. This position also requires sketching, conceptualizing, illustrating and photography. The Graphic Designer is responsible to maintain their own timelines and deliverables and to work cross‑functionally to strategize and problem‑solve.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate closely with the Design Director and graphics team to conceptualize internal and external marketing
  • Create and update production files, make revisions and update design files
  • Assemble or supervise completion of assembly of presentation materials
  • Work with the graphics team and category manager to conceptualize packaging and carding design
  • Develop a compete vision strategy for design solutions that are on‑trend, creative, innovative and customer right
  • Create designs from concept sketches to press ready production files
  • Sketch and mock‑up packaging hand samples when needed
  • Photograph product, edit and manipulation as needed
  • Extensive research and staying current with jewelry, product and design trends; including online and in‑store retail analysis

Skills & Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant design experience is required, with a focus on print and illustration a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
  • Experience with packaging and carding production
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
  • Ability to work independently and following through on assignments with direction
  • Ability to work as part of a team; collaborating with coworkers, maintaining a cross‑functional relationship
  • Ability to gain an understanding of department and corporate strategic vision and goals
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced fashion environment, under pressure of short deadline and ever‑changing priorities
  • Ability to participate in design meetings to offer suggestions and to offer input
  • Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines as necessary

Pay Range

$50,000 - $55,000 Annually
