We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for a Director, Influencer Marketing to join our growing Influencer Marketing Team!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead influencer program strategy and grow programs across lifestyle, corporate and consumer brands.
  • Help guide key clientele on culture strategy, placing clients at the forefront of cultural zeitgeist, driving relevance, talkability and badge value through influencer amplification.
  • Draft strategic frameworks, create influencer programs, and leverage influencer connections to find the right creators.
  • Stake in program budgeting; motivate and inspire cross‑functional teams to exceed expectations.
  • Manage day‑to‑day collaborations, partnerships, and program integrations that align with brand targets.
  • Dissect client business objectives and craft culture strategies, with influencer at the heart.
  • Provide strategic counsel, act as a trusted advisor to clients, and build strong relationships.
  • Supervise account teams on deliverables and create synergy between PR, organic social, and paid social.
  • Collaborate within integrated agency teams and partner agencies; troubleshoot and problem solve quickly.
  • Set goals and KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure profitability.

Program Oversight & Management

  • Design work plans and ensure top-quality output.
  • Liaise with influencers at events, activations (virtual and in‑person).
  • Track budgets; understand profitability and set KPIs with data & analytics team.

Team Management

  • Motivate and inspire teams, set performance standards, and coach in real time.
  • Challenge status quo, solve problems, and determine staff & resource allocation.

Who You Are:

  • A strategic and creative leader adept at building and selling influencer strategies based on briefs.
  • A confident writer and strategist to build campaign frameworks.
  • An expert in trends, connecting the right influencers and tastemakers in innovative ways.
  • Energetic, dynamic culture carnivore, not a box‑checker.
  • Critical thinker, constantly 1–2 steps ahead.
  • Excellent communication skills; articulate when presenting to clients and teams.
  • Thrives in fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional problem‑resolution skills and creative out‑of‑box thinking.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Solid foundation in influencer marketing, strong influencer relationships and networks.
  • Experience with influencer strategy, ID, negotiation, activation management.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and create of‑the‑moment and future‑forward collaborations.
  • Ability to roll with change and counsel on pivots.
  • Command a room and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
  • 7‑10 years of experience, 3‑4 direct reports.
  • Self‑directed, motivated, ownership mindset.
  • Experience and/or passion for lifestyle, alcohol, food industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Travel & evening networking required.

Location

Hybrid – on‑site in our NYC office 2 days per week.

Our Flexible Work Policy

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client’s office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
