About the Role

Rodan + Fields is seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Influencer & PR Specialist to strengthen our brand presence, expand awareness across earned channels, and foster authentic connections through influencer partnerships, VIP relations, events and earned media opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer & PR Strategy Execution

  • Assist with day‑to‑day influencer & agency relationships, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery against objectives and KPIs.
  • Support influencer campaign briefs, partnerships, and seeding programs to drive authentic and earned media value (EMV).
  • Research and vet creators who align with the brand across platforms and build relationships.
  • Engage in both proactive and reactive communication to strengthen relationships and foster brand love.
  • Coordinate influencer and media shipments.
  • Maintain influencer and press database.
  • Assist in developing and distributing PR materials, including press releases, media kits, and mailers.
  • Support agency partners and internal teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery and timely execution.
  • Draft influencer briefs, content guidelines, and PR materials (e.g., press releases, media lists, mailers).
  • Track and analyze influencer and media coverage, compiling reports on campaign performance metrics.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging talent in beauty and wellness to keep the brand culturally relevant.

Events & Activations

  • Support and execute influencer activations, press events, and brand experiences in collaboration with agency partners.
  • Coordinate across internal teams to ensure smooth event planning and alignment with brand objectives.
  • Support spokesperson programs, including dermatologist partners, to drive thought leadership and visibility.
  • Help prepare materials, presentations, and recap reports following events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with no experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience in influencer marketing, PR, or brand communications—ideally in beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven ability to manage external partners and execute successful influencer and PR campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for beauty, wellness, and cultural trends; knowledge of the dermatology/skincare category a plus.
  • Collaborative and proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Experience with influencer platforms, social analytics tools, or media databases is a plus.
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing and influencer contracts is a plus.

Salary Range

$51,200 – $85,000 per year
