CNBC is seeking a sharp, insightful stock pick news writer to uncover compelling investment ideas and react quickly to market news. The writer will update CNBC’s stock picks, launch new stories, and provide deep research and rigorous analysis of company financials and market trends. A strong background in balance sheets, income statements, and valuation metrics is required. The writer should be comfortable reaching out to C‑suite executives and reporting on the ground to gather insights, and communicate complex financial concepts in an accessible way.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and write detailed investment stories, combining analytical depth with clear storytelling.
- Develop and update CNBC’s stock picks and launch new stories based on changing investment environments.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of company fundamentals and market trends.
- Engage with analysts, investors, and executives to gather insights.
- Explain investment ideas to CNBC’s audience, both written and on‑air.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for investing and uncovering trends on Wall Street.
- Strong journalistic writing and research skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑intensity, deadline‑driven environment.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work with teams.
