Summary
Be the Voice of Our Innovation in North America. We’re seeking a PR Manager for North America—a proactive, detail‑driven communicator who can turn product innovation into powerful stories and credible coverage. You’ll own all PR activities for the U.S. and Canada, managing product reviews, embargoes, media relationships, and local event activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PR execution for North America launches and quarterly campaigns, including embargo planning, media outreach, and review coordination.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tech, gaming, and lifestyle editors, YouTubers, and reviewers across the U.S. and Canada.
- Host and manage media briefings, demos, and interviews; secure coverage that amplifies Cooler Master’s innovation and credibility.
- Manage sample allocation, shipping, firmware tracking, and review follow‑ups to ensure accurate, timely publications.
- Plan and execute local PR activations, demo events, and product showcases in collaboration with regional marketing and global teams.
- Coordinate with retail and channel partners to drive joint PR moments and co‑branded stories.
- Develop partnerships with local creators, labs, and communities to build advocacy and brand trust.
- Work closely with Product Marketing to refine reviewer guides, messaging decks, and Q&A materials.
- Ensure regional relevance and brand consistency across all media communications and launch materials.
- Deliver accurate, timely assets and statements to media partners.
- Monitor and analyze coverage, sentiment, and share of voice; report insights and learnings after each campaign or launch.
- Track KPIs including embargo‑day hits, review quality, turnaround rate, and share of voice.
- Maintain compliance with FTC guidelines, NDAs, and embargo protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in technology or gaming PR within North America.
- Established media network across tech and lifestyle outlets (e.g., Tom’s Hardware, GamerNexus, Pauls Hardware, Tech Power Up, Linus Tech Tips, PCWorld, etc.).
- Proven experience managing embargoed launches, review programs, and media events.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware, gaming culture, and content creation ecosystems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities independently.
- Fluent in English; Chinese a plus.
- Willing to travel (approximately 20–30%) for events, media tours, and global collaboration.
