Senior Social Video Producer, Lifestyle Los Angeles, CA Vox Media is seeking a social video leader who understands the ever‑changing social media landscape and is highly organized, creative, ambitious, and innovative. The ideal candidate has experience creating social series across various platforms, strong in ideation, physical production, and post‑production, and can balance the physical work while staying on the pulse of platform changes and trends. They are a self‑starter and team leader who will report directly to the Supervising Producer, Social Video, Lifestyle. What You’ll Do Sponsorships: Assist with coordinating, producing, and delivering social videos for specific sponsorship campaigns (working alongside the Supervising Producer). Talent Management: Oversee and work alongside the Supervising Producer and Head of Production to manage a network of creators for social video across the lifestyle pod. Platform Management: Work alongside Audience Development Directors to ensure video content is published in a timely manner, assist in programming and calendar management, and collaborate with social leadership on platform strategy, ideation, and execution. Content: Create social videos both as an individual producer and with editorial talent as needed. Collaborate with other video leads, editorial leads, and audience directors to deliver high‑quality content. Key responsibilities include: Develop new social video ideas for repeatable series. Produce and shoot in the field weekly. Edit 1–2 social videos per week. Stay on top of trends and current moments, pitching video ideas as fit. Work with various department heads on big initiatives and brand programs. Who You Are At least 6+ years of hands‑on relevant experience in video/social production. 5+ years producing video content for short‑form social platforms. Comfortable on set and in the field, demonstrating tact and professionalism around celebrity guests and brand partners. Strong writing and communication skills. Expert in Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, etc.). Expert in developing social concepts for video. Strong understanding of video analytics on the platforms and their impact. Strong experience with sponsored video concepts. Both high‑end and low‑fi shooting capabilities for social. Genuine passion for social media content creation and innovation. Demonstrated leadership and at least 2–3 years in a senior role. Previous talent or creator management experience, including work with agents. Ability to work across different brands and on different platforms. Strong storytelling capabilities. Understanding that social video changes rapidly. Where you’ll work This job is remote but based in Los Angeles. Compensation Pay Range: $76,000 – $90,000 USD Benefits This is a permanent, full‑time position and benefits‑eligible.
