Producer – Property & Casualty

Join USI Kibble & Prentice as a Property & Casualty Producer to drive new business and client retention on a national scale.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annualized new business sales of $175k within a target market of companies with at least $10M in sales.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Leader to define a primary industry specialization and, if desired, pursue a secondary vertical.
  • Retain at least 92% of business year over year through client engagement and service.
  • Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals set by leadership.
  • Use USI’s research tools to develop customized messaging for prospects and explain USI’s competitive differentiation.
  • Develop and execute a sales business plan using effective prospecting strategies.
  • Innovate solutions for clients using market knowledge and advanced understanding of technical insurance issues.
  • Participate in national and regional vertical meetings, video calls, and client-facing events.
  • Leverage USI’s contact management and sales automation tools to support sales processes and generate accurate revenue projections.
  • Pursue cross‑selling opportunities to enhance prospect and client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the account management team on significant account management services for clients.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of USI competitors and represent USI positively in meetings, seminars, trade shows, and networking events.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with a proven track record of sales success.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Must hold a Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance and consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients, and associates.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow‑up skills.
  • Excellent listening skills with strong customer focus.
  • Ability to deal with senior level management and project a top‑level executive presence.
  • Personable, highly motivated, and goal oriented. Driven to achieve individual sales goals.

Benefits & Compensation

Competitive base salary of $62.22 – $67.22 per hour, commission structure, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, flexible spending, paid family leave, and holiday time. USI is an equal‑opportunity employer.
