Job Description
The Senior Media Producer is a highly experienced storyteller and strategist with a passion for innovation who oversees the creation of multimedia content across video, photography, broadcast, digital advertising and social platforms. This role collaborates with marketing leadership to manage media projects from concept to completion, ensuring that every piece of content supports Cavco’s strategic objectives, reinforces brand voice and meets the highest standards of quality.
Acting as both visionary and hands‑on producer, the Senior Media Producer will lead creative direction, manage production teams, coordinate with agency partners and deliver polished assets that strengthen Cavco’s presence across consumer and business audiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise the entire production lifecycle for multimedia projects, including planning, scripting, filming, editing and delivery.
- Lead teams of videographers, photographers, editors, and contractors to provide mentorship and training, and ensure seamless execution and quality control across all phases of production.
- Stay abreast of newest technology, innovations and trends in videography, animation and motion graphics and maintain highest standards in equipment and software.
Project & Budget Management
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules and resource allocation for multiple simultaneous productions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and in alignment with organizational goals.
- Negotiate vendor and talent contracts to achieve cost‑effective, high‑quality outcomes.
Creative & Strategic Development
- Translate brand strategy into compelling multimedia campaigns, aligning creative execution with business objectives.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Managers and other internal stakeholders to deliver content that supports product launches, events, advertising campaigns and internal initiatives.
- Drive innovation by incorporating new technologies, trends and formats into multimedia storytelling.
Technical Excellence
- Oversee technical quality of all media, including camera work, lighting, sound design, editing and post‑production.
- Ensure consistency in brand guidelines across visual content, from short‑form social assets to long‑form corporate productions.
- Manage workflows for digital asset storage, tagging and distribution.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Collaborate with senior leadership, product teams and external partners to understand project needs and deliver assets that exceed expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on high‑profile projects.
- Present concepts, storyboards and final work to leadership teams and adapt based on feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, Film or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in media production with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects.
- Expertise in professional production equipment, video editing platforms (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and photography tools.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing large productions and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional creative judgment with the ability to align messaging and visuals to strategic business objectives.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25–40% for events, shoots and production needs.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work full‑time onsite in Plano, TX.
- Requires travel to corporate events, retail/manufacturing locations and production sites.
- Capable of managing projects in fast‑paced environments with strict deadlines.
