We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile

Technical Writer

with experience in documenting enterprise business and IT processes across multiple domains— ERP/Finance ,

HRIS ,

IT & Procurement , and

Legal, Security, and Privacy .

The ideal candidate will translate complex functional and technical information into clear, concise, and engaging documentation that enables users, analysts, and stakeholders to efficiently operate within a

Knowledge Management System (KMS)

such as

KMS Lighthouse

or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end documentation—process guides, SOPs, user manuals, training material, and release notes—for systems and workflows spanning

Finance (ERP) ,

HR ,

Procurement , and

Compliance .

Collaborate with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to capture process flows, functional configurations, and technical specifications.

Write and edit

standard operating procedures (SOPs) ,

work instructions , and

FAQs

aligned with organizational style guides.

Ensure all documents are accurate, version-controlled, and compliant with audit and regulatory requirements.

Manage, curate, and publish documentation within

KMS Lighthouse

or other enterprise KMS tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow Knowledge Base).

Structure content for easy retrieval using metadata, tagging, and taxonomy best practices.

Drive continuous improvement of KMS usability, searchability, and governance.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure documentation aligns with business workflows.

ERP / Finance:

Document financial workflows (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, FP&A), controls, and system configurations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

HRIS / HCM:

Create documentation for core HR, payroll, benefits, and onboarding processes (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).

IT / Sourcing & Buying:

Develop SOPs for procurement lifecycle, IT asset management, RFx processes, and supplier onboarding.

Legal, Security & Privacy:

Write policies, control matrices, and process documentation for data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), compliance (SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2), and legal workflows (contract management, NDA, e‑signature).

Quality, Governance & Compliance

Maintain documentation consistency with company standards, terminology, and brand guidelines.

Review documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Ensure version control and change‑management tracking for all published materials.

Support internal audits, compliance checks, and readiness reviews by maintaining documentation repositories.

Collaboration & Process Enablement

Work closely with business analysts, architects, and product managers to align documentation with ongoing releases and process changes.

Facilitate content reviews and feedback cycles across multiple business functions.

Support training and onboarding initiatives by transforming complex material into user‑friendly learning assets (videos, quick‑reference guides, walkthroughs).

Required Skills & Experience

5–8+ years

of experience in

technical writing ,

business documentation , or

knowledge management

roles.

Hands‑on experience with

KMS Lighthouse ,

Confluence ,

SharePoint , or similar documentation systems.

Ability to write for multiple audiences—business users, technical teams, and compliance stakeholders.

Familiarity with one or more enterprise domains:

ERP/Finance ,

HRIS ,

IT Procurement ,

Legal ,

Security , or

Privacy .

Excellent command of English, attention to detail, and editorial precision.

Experience using

BPMN ,

Visio , or

Miro

for process flow visualization.

Working knowledge of

Agile/Scrum

methodologies and versioning tools (Git, Jira).

Exposure to

KMS Lighthouse configuration , knowledge taxonomy design, and dashboard analytics.

Experience in writing documentation for

compliance frameworks

(GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX).

Basic understanding of

data governance ,

security controls , or

privacy impact assessments .

Certifications such as

Certified Technical Writer (STC) ,

CBAP ,

CIPP , or

ITIL Foundation .

Education

Bachelor’s degree in

Technical Communication, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

(Master’s preferred).
