Position Overview As an entry level mechanical designer at Henderson Engineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to our six market various sectors, including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. Within each sector, we seamlessly integrate our engineering knowledge with the in‑the‑field experience of our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions, to deliver a client experience unlike any other in the industry. Key Responsibilities Performs calculations and designs basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff.

Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.

Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.

Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for projects.

Supports business development or pursuit activities.

Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships.

Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.

Seeks to fill gaps in industry and/or discipline knowledge on a continuous basis.

Maintains knowledge of common industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (i.e.: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and one year of experience, or 3 years of experience without degree required.

Basic proficiency in engineering design: basic knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards.

Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu software preferred.

Understanding of the fundamental principles of HVAC design.

Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary ranges New York Salary Range: $75,925 - $113,887

Los Angeles Salary Range: $72,191 - $108,286

Denver Salary Range: $68,457 - $102,685

Philadelphia Salary Range: $68,457 - $102,685

Las Vegas Salary Range: $65,345 - $98,018
