About The Role We’re seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Interior Designer to join a growing residential design team in the Greater Milwaukee Area. What You’ll Do
Collaborate with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, and design preferences
Develop design concepts, mood boards, and space plans tailored to residential interiors
Select finishes, furnishings, lighting, and materials that align with project goals and budgets
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for contractors and vendors
Manage project timelines and coordinate with architects, builders, and suppliers
Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure design integrity
Stay current with design trends, materials, and local sourcing options
What You Bring
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
2+ years of experience in residential interior design (or strong portfolio if newer)
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite
Strong eye for detail, color, and spatial planning
Excellent communication and client presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes
Experience working with custom cabinetry, millwork, or high‑end finishes
Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
