Teaching Load
2‑2 (four 3‑credit courses per year) in graduate and undergraduate programs.
Responsibilities
Maintain an active research agenda in musicology or related field. Teach graduate courses and serve on dissertation committees. Participate in the MA/PhD program and the recently revised BA/BMus curriculum. Engage in departmental, university, and professional service; mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Musicology or related field by July 1, 2026. Record of research related to the study of music and/or sound. At least two years of undergraduate teaching and experience advising graduate students preferred. Strong commitment to inclusive teaching and scholarship in queer studies, disability studies, or labor studies encouraged.
