About Us New Paradigm Agency, a communications and public affairs consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks a dynamic Graphic Designer/Motion Graphics Editor to join our creative team.

This is an excellent opportunity to dive into the political world, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to impactful design projects for political, non‑profit, and corporate clients.

Role Overview

Develop creative collateral, including digital ads, programmatic ads (static and GIFs), pre‑roll video, social media graphics, presentations, logotypes, full branding, infographics, reports, website designs, and web banners for organic, paid, and digital campaigns.

Help develop unique concepts to reach target audiences.

Resize graphics for various end‑placements and aspect ratios.

Create eye‑catching visual content for digital and print media, social platforms (e.g., social posts, Instagram and Facebook stories, carousels, OOH ads, newspaper ads, programmatic and pre‑roll ads).

Assist team members with campaign materials, marketing collateral, and branding assets.

Iterate designs based on feedback from team members and clients.

Join brainstorming sessions to develop new branding projects and campaigns.

Collaborate within the design team and cross‑functionally with client leads, paid media, communications team members, and directly with clients.

Day‑to‑day

Manage design tickets assigned in Asana, responding promptly, absorbing feedback, and meeting deadlines.

Quickly jump into other tasks and help teammates as needed.

Participate in weekly check‑ins with the Creative team to review tasks and streamline processes.

Stay abreast of design trends and incorporate innovative ideas into your work.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

Strong interest in graphic design, branding, digital media, and social/political issues.

Motion graphic design experience strongly preferred.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in high‑pressure situations.

Collaboration skills—respectful and effective teamwork.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word).

Keen attention to detail.

Desire to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and balance tasks across multiple areas of expertise.

Ability to learn new programs, multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks to hit deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience in After Effects and/or motion graphics and video editing.

Salary Range $60,000–$79,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Location This position requires in‑office attendance Monday through Thursday. Remote work is available on Fridays and for 10 additional days of your choosing throughout the year.
