Pay Range: Annual Salary $55,000-$60,000 DOE

Job Summary Guadalupe Center seeks an enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Manager dedicated to transforming lives through education. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday through Friday and may include occasional nights and weekends. This position is a vital part of the development team and will focus on advancing the mission of the organization while elevating Guadalupe’s presence online, on social media, and in the community. This dynamic role involves the implementation of marketing, public relations, advertising, and promotional strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities
Maintain and develop Guadalupe Center's website: www.guadalupeutah.org
Develop and execute integrated marketing, brand management, and social media strategies that support the organization's mission and long‑term goals.
Manage and produce content for Guadalupe Center's digital channels, including social media platforms and two monthly newsletters, with a focus on audience engagement and storytelling.
Manage media relations activities including drafting press releases and media alerts, maintaining media contact lists, and participating in strategic communication efforts.
Collaborate with the Development team to support organizational events through comprehensive marketing campaigns and by assisting with event planning, promotion, and day‑of execution.
Capture and curate high‑quality photography and video content to enhance Guadalupe Center's marketing and storytelling efforts.
Design and develop marketing materials, both digital and print, in alignment with the organization's visual identity and communications goals.
Ensure consistent and accurate application of Guadalupe Center's brand guidelines across all internal and external communications.
Create compelling collateral for a variety of audiences, including flyers, brochures, digital ads, banners, event invitations, and fundraising materials such as the annual report and annual appeal.
Conceptualize and execute unique branding for annual fundraising events and campaigns, including logos, signage, and multimedia assets.
Manage and execute email marketing efforts, including content development, visual layout, contact list segmentation, and performance tracking.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, donors, media contacts, and other stakeholders to strengthen Guadalupe Center's visibility and impact.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
In lieu of a degree, 3+ years of relevant experience may suffice.
2+ years of marketing and communications experience.
Proficiency in Google Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Experience with design for print and electronic media is required.
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, and social media strategies. Must have social media and website content management experience with understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Google Analytics.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent project management skills, able to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills to professionally represent Guadalupe Center at community and social events.
Ability to work collaboratively, give & receive feedback, and possess a willingness to learn.
About Guadalupe Center Guadalupe Center, one of the state’s leading educational institutions and resource centers for immigrant and refugee families, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1966 whose mission is to transform lives through education. The organization provides wrap‑around and educational services for children aged infant through 12 years old, as well as adults aged 18 and older — 95% of whom live at or below the federal poverty line — through an Early Learning Center (in‑home care, toddler, and preschool classes), a K‑6 public charter school, and an Adult Education program.
Compensation & Benefits Salary is commensurate with education and experience; salary range $55,000 - $60,000.
