KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Industry Marketing, Consumer & Retail to join our Marketing team.

Responsibilities

Develop the “Go to Market” (GTM) strategy and overarching story for KPMG’s Consumer and Retail industry.

Manage the coordination and execution of an integrated cross‑functional marketing plan to establish brand, support relationship development, and drive growth with target audiences and sales channels.

Execute the sector’s thought‑leadership strategy, ensuring adherence to quality standards and extending across an omni‑channel approach (digital, social media, video, podcast, webinar, blogs, association affiliation, and tradeshow sponsorships).

Partner with Field Marketing, Hub Marketing, Communications, Media Relations, and Industry analyst community to augment brand reach.

Perform market research to inform strategic Point of View (POV) documents as critical changes take place in the industry.

Diagnose client and prospect needs, translate them into qualifications and use cases, and architect the positioning to solve critical marketing opportunities; identify events or venues that attract targeted buyers and influencers to increase brand awareness or change brand image and potentially drive sales or create positive publicity.

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years of recent experience in combined marketing and business in professional services or a similar corporate environment.

Master of Business Administration degree from an accredited institution preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience in Consumer and Retail marketing preferred; project‑management, internal client‑service knowledge, and budget management also preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills and executive presence.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
