Customs Brokerage Entry Writer

Talent Acquisition Consultant - US Central Region at hXpath Our client, a leading international freight forwarder & customs broker is seeking a Customs Brokerage Entry Writer to process data/documents for both ocean & air import shipments. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois, and offers a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

At least 2 years of experience with customs brokerage

Experience using CargoWise is highly desirable.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Process data/documents for import air & ocean shipments.

Coordinate with vendors and carriers to provide timely and exemplary service to clients and partners.

Handle and maintain accuracy of all related documents, monitor the status of shipments, and keep clients informed.

Proactively handle any challenges that arise in the day-to-day operations, promoting positive results.
