Production Coordinator (Live Broadcasts)

About the Role
We're hiring a Production Coordinator to support live and studio productions at Skillshot Media's studio in Uptown Atlanta, steps from the MARTA Lindbergh Center station. This is an in‑person role. You'll help organize and execute the many moving parts of live broadcast production, crew scheduling, talent coordination, show documentation, vendor management, asset logistics, and day‑of support, working closely with our Executive Producer and Production team.
Scope of Work Partner with the Executive Producer and the Production Department to ensure all production needs are met. Coordinate department deadlines and assist with show planning and execution across internal and client productions.
Responsibilities
Crew coordination and booking: manage crewing for day‑to‑day operations and live events (both client and in‑house), including contracts and paperwork.
Payments and documentation: track crew payments and manage required documents.
Communication workflows: facilitate information flow across production subgroups (tech, show producers, operations), ensuring timely and accurate updates.
Vendor management: oversee vendor accounts, including onboarding, POs, receipts, invoicing, and paperwork.
Asset logistics: handle shipping/receiving and organization of digital and physical assets; ensure files are delivered correctly to stakeholders.
Scheduling and deadlines: track and enforce production timelines; coordinate with outside departments to meet deliverables.
Day‑of production support: be the first stop for non‑technical crew needs; manage food and beverage for crew on show days.
Meetings and documentation: schedule and run internal/external production meetings; prepare show docs, layouts, task lists, and health/safety policies.
Purchasing: collaborate with the Executive Producer and Facility Engineer to procure production‑related items.
Cross‑department liaison: translate production crew needs to outside departments under EP direction.
Key Qualifications
Strong understanding of broadcasting, live production workflows, and crew management.
Knowledge of current esports trends and general gaming.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Tasks, Keep) and common production communication tools (Discord, Google Chat, email).
Exceptional organization, time management, and people skills; ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Production, and Finance.
Skilled in planning workflows around crew management and file organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Comfortable supporting highly visible leaders and leading small teams in a fast‑paced production environment.
Willingness to collaborate across departments and come off the island to solve problems.
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during live broadcasts.
Prior experience in live production or broadcast environments is a plus.
