General Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Experiential Marketing Manager. This role will be responsible for managing various scaled events across all business entities, including relationship management with key stakeholders, ideation, strategic planning, milestone tracking, budgeting, and facilitating effective communication among team members. This position will work closely with a variety of professional sports leagues and vendors to cultivate unique experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

Lead the experiential marketing team in planning 100+ events across all business entities, both domestically and internationally (i.e. store grand openings, collaboration launches, tradeshows, key sporting events, player appearances, pop-ups and more).

Manage all necessary milestones for events while working cross-functionally with marketing, buying, operations, IT, finance and our field teammates.

Oversee the experiential marketing team to ensure coverage of all events, development of the team and forward thinking to proactively support business goals.

Act as the liaison with our experiential agency on record, create and lead RFPs throughout the year on an ad hoc basis and negotiate annual renewals.

Serve as a problem solver throughout planning and anticipate needs in advance to mitigate any issues during key programs.

Bring new innovative opportunities to engage with customers that support our business goals.

Act as the point of contact on event days to ensure a smooth transition (on-site travel required for select events, or virtual support towards field team members).

Create go-to-market decks and recaps for events to track planning, direction, creative, sales and key learnings.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, plan multiple events simultaneously and pull together thoughtful planning in a quick timeframe.

Foster collaboration, teamwork and effective communication among all levels of the organization to meet project objectives.

Oversee the year end budget planning, annual budget and monthly tracking to ensure we maintain on pace and within our limits.

Create and analyze profit & loss statements for select events to understand participation and ROI.

Identify opportunities to enhance processes and workflows for increased efficiency.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

5-7+ years of experience working in experiential marketing and/or event management.

2-3+ years of managing direct reports.

Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.

Proven experience in project management, attention to detail, budgeting & strategic planning.

Ability to coordinate and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to adapt to changes quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive mindset and strong work ethic.

Physical requirements: ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, lift up to 50 pounds; vision requirements include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

This position requires less than 20% travel.
