Konik is partnering with a full-service office furniture dealership seeking an Interior Designer to design and advise on furniture plans for Healthcare, Corporate, and Government projects. This role will have much autonomy in working on projects from start to finish.
In this role, you will:
Advise clients on space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination.
Assist and coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers
Review and detail shop drawings
Produce renderings and space plans to present to clients
Conduct site visits and measurements
On-site walk-through during and following projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
2-8 years of experience working in a commercial interior design role; previous experience in a furniture dealership setting is preferred.
Knowledgeable with systems furniture, finishes, materials, and specifications
Proficiency with AutoCAD, CET, Excel, and SketchUp
Creative Adobe Suite and Bluebeam are a plus.
