About the Role:
A growing engineering and construction services firm specializing in control systems for the water and wastewater treatment industry is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join their Sacramento-based team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the company’s branding and proposal strategy while working closely with the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage marketing proposals, presentations, and qualification materials in response to RFQs and RFPs
Coordinate meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows
Support professional organization event planning
Implement and evolve the company’s brand strategy
Write and edit technical and marketing content for proposals, SOQs, resumes, and project descriptions
Design and produce marketing and technical documents (print and digital)
Maintain and update marketing databases and visual media
Analyze marketing performance and provide reports and insights
Conduct market research and competitive analysis
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of marketing and proposal management experience, with at least 1 year in the water/wastewater industry
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
Valid California Driver’s License
