Web Developer and Digital Marketing Specialist Reports To: Christine Brenner, Head of Growth Marketing & Strategic Partnerships. Location: Prefer WA State; remote considered. Position Overview The Web Developer & Digital Marketing Coordinator is our “marketing engineer” – a technical problem‑solver who ensures our digital ecosystem runs smoothly so creative and strategic teams can focus on their craft. Your role spans website development, marketing automation, SEO, and digital strategy execution. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain and update the website using CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify. Implement SEO best practices, monitor performance, and continuously optimize for traffic and conversions. Build and refine marketing automation workflows and integrations across platforms. Ensure seamless data flow between marketing tools and analytics platforms. Track and report on site performance, marketing metrics, and technical issues. Problem‑solve technical challenges across the digital marketing stack. Collaborate with creative, growth, and external web agencies on initiatives, site migrations, and large projects. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with creative and growth teams to launch digital initiatives. Communicate technical concepts in clear, non‑technical language. Identify process improvements and innovative solutions. Education & Experience 2+ years in web development, digital marketing, or related technical role. Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify). Understanding of SEO best practices and implementation. Familiarity with marketing automation tools and integrations. Basic knowledge of analytics platforms (Google Analytics). Ideal Attributes Curious problem‑solver who enjoys figuring out how things work. Detail‑oriented with a big‑picture perspective. Strong communicator who explains technical concepts clearly. Adaptable and keen to learn new tools and technologies. Passionate about connecting technical solutions to marketing impact.
