Job Description
As a mid-level UI/UX Designer at Trimble, you will work with a global team of junior and senior designers to craft UI/UX for web and mobile software solutions that support users in construction, transportation, geospatial, and natural resources. You will serve as the voice and advocate for our customers, applying a set of design standards to align the UX/UI across applications and improve overall usability.
Responsibilities
- Work with PM and stakeholders to identify UX objectives, including research and design execution.
- Define and lead user research plans, recruiting end users and executing the research.
- Define usability testing plans for remote or field testing.
- Create user personas, customer journeys, and task workflows.
- Utilize an existing design system to align look and feel of solutions.
- Design workflows that optimize usability across the entire workflow.
- Usability test design prototypes.
- Create high‑fidelity designs and design assets.
- Support implementation of high‑fidelity designs by development teams.
- Champion user experience design and process with local stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in UX design, HCI, interaction design, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a junior designer with a compelling portfolio.
- Experience with UX in an Agile environment.
- Strong eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Team spirit and eagerness to learn about all things UX/UI.
- Capacity to learn by doing and willingness to accept direction.
- Fluency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Compensation
Salary Range: $122,642.00 – $165,466.00 per year
Bonus: Eligible
Commission: Not applicable
