Job Description
Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes. You’ll play a crucial role in creating, maintaining, and governing program documentation across Agile, technical, and compliance domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, clear program documentation including design artifacts, user guides, and compliance deliverables.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product managers, and federal stakeholders to ensure documentation meets federal standards.
- Support DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and modernization transparency for applications built as part of this initiative.
- Maintain program documentation across Agile, technical, and compliance domains.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science in English, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years working in an Agile Scrum environment writing technical documentation.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience producing documentation for Agile, cloud, or DevSecOps projects; strong understanding of technical concepts in software development, system architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred); experience managing compliance documentation for FedRAMP, NIST, or FISMA-controlled environments; exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills; proficiency with document management systems (SharePoint, Confluence, Git); familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML; experience creating content accessible to all audiences (Section 508 and WCAG compliance).
- Security Clearance: Public Trust level.
- Role Requirements: 5+ years in technical writing or documentation management, with 3+ years supporting federal or enterprise-scale IT programs; strong understanding of technical concepts and experience managing compliance documentation.

Location
Hybrid at GDIT's Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, Louisiana. Remote work available for candidates residing in Louisiana more than 60 miles from the office. USA LA Home Office (LAHOME) and support for remote employees.
Compensation
Likely salary range: $82,283 – $111,323. Salary determined by experience, location, and contractual requirements.
