Content Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA. You are required to perform all work onsite based on the client’s specified hybrid schedule (currently onsite 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Job Description:
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with Content Management Systems (CMS) or Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Detail‑oriented content developer to handle data within our client’s CMS and catalog management tools.
- Set up content and guide data infrastructure for new features and projects delivered into production.
- Develop and enhance customer journey features for all e‑commerce customers.
- Manage multiple data types for new features using CMS tools such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or AEM.
- Use catalog management tools such as FileMaker, SAP CRM, or Salsify.
- Support global e‑commerce shopping experience development and execution.
- Utilize repositories such as SVN or Git.
- Work independently on large, cross‑functional projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong decision‑making, prioritization, and schedule execution skills.
- Build rapport, credibility, and influence across a large matrixed organization.
- Balance time‑to‑market pressures while maintaining business relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non‑technical teams.
- Anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems on the fly.
- Strong technical background with engineering collaboration.
- Passionate about delivering an excellent user experience for business users and customers.
- High ownership and accountability; comfortable in a rapidly changing environment with ambiguity.
- Set up content, products, and media assets in the Store Publishing tools to support engineering projects and testing.
- Package and deploy all project content to production per complex release plans.
- Aim for a bug‑free environment across multi‑project & platform portfolio.
- Coordinate with off‑shore and on‑shore resources to ensure efficient task completion.
- Produce detailed documentation of feature setup.
- Gather and report metrics on release deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ years in Web Publishing, Content Management, Library Science, eCommerce or related field.
