Experience in media relationships and digital advertising. Preferred qualifications Ability to translate product launches into simple narratives understandable by the business and trade press. Ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑moving environment. Ability to work effectively, cross‑functionally and creatively to overcome problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. About the job As a member of Ads Communications, you will lead global communications for ads measurement and ads privacy. You will focus on proactive storytelling to promote our ads measurement products to target audiences, including press, influencers and customers across earned and owned channels. Responsibilities include developing a proactive communications plan, pitching stories to ad trade, technology and business outlets, staffing interviews with product and sales executives and building thought leadership. You will also manage proactive and reactive communications plans for Google’s ads privacy innovations, such as confidential computing, industry‑leading ads privacy practices and personalization policies. You will advise cross‑functional teams on product development, launches and policy changes, working with product, sales, marketing, legal and government affairs to develop strategies and messaging that aligns with company goals. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $110,000–$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Responsibilities Lead external communications for Google's ads measurement products that help businesses understand the impact of their campaigns on Search, YouTube, Display and more. Develop and execute a proactive campaign to elevate Google’s innovative ads measurement solutions externally, including pitching stories, staffing interviews and driving thought leadership. Act as primary contact for journalists and manage media inquiries related to our ads measurement products, privacy practices and personalization policies. Draft and edit a variety of communications materials, including blog posts, talking points and social media posts. Work cross‑functionally and provide internal counsel on product development, launches and ads policy changes, including preparing reactive communications.
