About Us:
New Paradigm Agency, a communications and public affairs consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., is seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer/Motion Graphics Editor to join our creative team.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to dive into the political world, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful design projects for political, non-profit, and corporate clients.
NOTE:

Responsibilities
Develop creative collateral, including:
digital ads, programmatic ads (static and GIFs) and pre-roll video, for organic, paid and digital campaigns plus social media graphics, presentations, logotypes and full branding, infographics, reports, website designs, web banners.
Help to develop
unique and new concepts to reach our target audiences.
Resize graphics
for a variety of end-placements and aspect ratios.
Create eye-catching visual content
for various platforms, including digital and print media and social platforms. (i.e: Social posts, IG and FB stories, IG carousels, OOH ads, newspaper ads, programmatic ads, pre-roll ads)
Assisting other team members
in the development of campaign materials, marketing collateral, and branding assets.
Iterating on designs
based on feedback from team members and clients.
Join brainstorm sessions
with the design team to develop new branding projects and campaigns.
Collaborate within the design team
as well as cross-functionally with client leads, paid media and communications team members, and directly with clients.
Day-to-day
Be responsible for design tickets assigned to you in Asana, responding promptly, absorbing feedback, and meeting deadlines.
Jump in quickly to other tasks and help a team member if necessary.
Participate in weekly check-ins with the Creative team to review weekly tasks and streamline processes.
Keep abreast of design trends and incorporate innovative ideas into your work.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in graphic design, branding, digital media, and social/political issues.
Motion graphic design experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
Ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with others.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
A keen attention to detail.
Desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Can work independently, meet tight deadlines, and balance tasks in multiple areas of expertise at once.
Ability to learn new programs, multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks to hit deadlines.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience in After Effects and/or motion graphics and video editing is preferred.
Salary range:
$50,000–$63,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
