Music Domain Architect (Media & Entertainment) Seeking a Music Industry Domain Architect to anchor strategic global music accounts. This leadership role blends music label, publishing, and streaming domain depth, covering the full digital supply chain. It requires consulting‑led solutioning, techno‑functional architecture expertise, and AI/Agentic‑AI innovation to drive business transformation, enterprise architecture strategy, and pre‑sales leadership.

Domain Expertise As a Domain Architect, you will oversee and integrate the Music Industry value chain, designing scalable architecture, driving data‑powered monetization, and leading AI‑enabled transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Define the end‑to‑end enterprise architecture blueprint for music companies, encompassing catalog ingestion, rights clearance, licensing, distribution, and downstream monetization.

Understand integration ecosystems including metadata standards for accurate attribution and rights tracking across Digital Service Providers (DSP) and Performing Rights Organisations (PRO).

Knowledge of artist & rights‑holder dashboards providing real‑time streaming data, royalty splits, and predictive royalty analytics.

Knowledge of multi‑format content workflows (audio, video, podcasts, short form) ensuring seamless localization, automated QC, and metadata enrichment.

Apply AI/Agentic‑AI frameworks for use cases such as content recognition (ACR), royalty fraud detection, predictive royalty forecasting, and automated licensing.

Design publishing rights architecture covering song registration, synchronization licensing, ownership splits, and downstream reporting to PROs (ASCAP, BMI, PRS).

Architect enterprise‑scale Rights & Royalty Management platforms and digital asset (DAM) systems for catalog storage, archival, and multi‑territory distribution.

Build Customer 360 (C360) and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to create artist, fan, and partner 360 profiles integrating streaming, social, and commerce data for fan engagement and monetization.

Partner with music business and technology stakeholders to define the future state architecture blueprint covering cloud‑native, SaaS, and legacy systems.

Lead consulting‑driven modernization initiatives including APR, ERP transformation, cloud migration, and tech‑debt elimination.

Anchor high‑level and integration blueprints to connect cross‑platform media systems with third‑party products and emerging technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

Drive PoCs and accelerators demonstrating AI/Agentic‑AI capabilities such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and multi‑agent orchestration tailored to media workflows.

Lead domain‑led responses to RFI/RFPs, including detailed architecture proposals, cost‑benefit models, and client‑specific solution pitches.

Build and position music‑centric accelerators and solution frameworks to shorten sales cycles and showcase capability differentiation.

Expedite right‑fit partnerships with major DSPs, rights organizations, and music tech platforms.

Conceptualize and publish domain‑specific PoVs and innovation playbooks on music trends such as direct artist‑to‑fan platforms, blockchain‑enabled royalties, and AI‑generated music rights frameworks.

Develop media innovation playbooks, AI capability briefs, and client‑specific roadmaps to influence transformation journeys.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Media Technology, or related fields (preferred).

15+ years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in music, labels, publishing, or streaming domain architecture.

Proven track record of large‑scale transformations and AI‑enabled solutions for global media clients.

Experience in US‑based music companies (labels, publishers, DSPs) (preferred).
