Job Overview The O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, established in 2007, seeks a creative storyteller skilled in social media, data analytics, and health justice advocacy. As a Digital Marketing Associate, you will create and implement data‑driven strategies to increase engagement and broaden audience reach across social platforms and the Institute’s website.
Duties
Develop and execute social media campaigns and content calendars.
Lead day‑to‑day social media activities, analytics, and reporting.
Manage website content updates and SEO optimization.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align digital initiatives with institutional goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Interactions You will report to the Director of Communications and regularly engage with Institute staff and leadership.
Requirements and Qualifications
B.A. degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
3‑5 years of social media and digital marketing experience, ideally in nonprofit or academic settings.
Advanced knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Reddit, and YouTube.
Proficiency with Canva, social media management tools, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
Skills in SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn ads, Reddit ads, and display advertising.
Ability to stay current with emerging trends.
Soft Skill Requirements
Self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented.
Strong project management and problem‑solving abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities.
Work Mode Designation Hybrid – 3 days onsite.
Pay Range $47,586.00 – $87,558.13 (salary or hourly, depending on position type).
