In this role, the Telecommunications Support Agent supports AT&T’s services, including cell phones, wireless devices, and high-speed internet, by guiding customers through technical challenges and service options.

As a Telecommunications Support Agent, you will support AT&T's customers by using diagnostic tools and knowledge base resources to troubleshoot service disruptions and restore functionality in line with established service level agreements. The Telecommunications Support Agent detects and reports recurring technical issues, providing data that helps enhance our network and overall product reliability.

Role Requirements for a Telecommunications Support Agent

Articulate AT&T’s wireless, internet, and bundled solutions with technical clarity, advising residential clients on service selection for optimal household deployment. Oversee the onboarding process, managing eligibility verification, documentation, and activation timelines to ensure a flawless and timely service setup. Maintain accurate CRM records of service milestones and preferences to support retention and performance reporting, ensuring all client interactions are logged. Manage service inquiries and customer requests across channels, executing prompt resolution for standard issues and efficiently escalating complex challenges. Collaborate with operational teams to troubleshoot account challenges, standardize support messaging, and ensure the prompt delivery of pre-arranged service upgrades. Proactively analyze account activity and service adoption trends to identify strategic upsell opportunities and support long-term campaign goals and client value initiatives.
