Designer - Kitchen/Bath
at The Home Depot supports three store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. Designers provide fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers, welcome them to the store, assess kitchen and/or bath project needs, provide showroom tours, set up kitchen and/or bath measurements, meet with customers to review room designs, and make purchasing recommendations. Designers also support In Stock by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking as necessary, and support Store Appearance by maintaining displays and showroom areas to promote a safe and appealing shopping environment. By supporting these priorities, Designers drive sales to meet department and store goals.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers to the store and provide fast, thorough, and friendly service.
Assess kitchen and/or bath project needs and provide showroom tours.
Arrange kitchen and/or bath measurements and meet with customers to discuss room designs and purchasing recommendations.
Monitor stock levels of samples and brochures; restock as needed to support Customers First and In Stock initiatives.
Maintain store appearance by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a safe, appealing environment.
Drive sales to support department and store goals through design guidance and customer service.
