Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Network Administrator to support a high‑priority project under our Space Protection and Response Solution Contract. The role is critical to ensuring our Nation’s space mission capabilities are protected across multiple domains.

Summary As a Network Administrator you will implement and maintain the organization's network infrastructure. Your role will involve overseeing network administration, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our network systems.
What You Will Do
Install, configure, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN equipment including routers, switches, multiplexers, and VPNs
Manage internetworking protocols (IP, VLANs, VTP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, multicast) across Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade platforms
Perform packet‑level diagnostics using NetFlow, protocol analyzers, sniffers, and log analysis
Apply DoD STIGs to network devices and ensure compliance with security policies
Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds
Assist in network design, documentation, and implementation
Support cross‑domain connectivity and implement robust network security measures
Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Must Have
2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a high school diploma
Experience in network operations and support within DoD or federal environments
Hands‑on experience with cross‑domain solutions and network security planning
Must possess an Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Must have Security+, Network+, or equivalent IAT Level II certification
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
CCNP Certification or equivalent
Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
