CBS Sacramento, the owned and operated duopoly in West Sacramento, has an immediate opening for a full‑time news photographer/editor that would possibly work and live in the Stockton‑Modesto market. Candidates should have a working knowledge of the XDCAM EX camera and GRASS VALLEY editing systems. Candidates should have a working knowledge of live trucks, bonded cellular packs, and be able to travel at a moment’s notice. We are looking for storytellers and teammates. Certified drone pilots are a bonus. Qualifications 3+ years of television experience covering breaking news, features and sports. Sound journalistic judgment working with a reporter or solo. Passion for visual storytelling and putting together natural sound pieces. Excellent lighting skills. Deadline oriented a must. Proficient non‑linear editor on all platforms. Experience operating microwave, bonded‑cellular packs and/or satellite trucks. Valid driver’s License and excellent driving record a must (don’t apply if you have any outstanding issues). Ability to work any shift, night or day, weekends and holidays. Occasional travel in a moment’s notice and overnight stays when needed. Salary & Benefits Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00.
