Join HCA Healthcare as a Director of Video Production, leading a talented in‑house production team to deliver high‑quality video and photo assets for our communications, marketing, brand, social and executive initiatives.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Creative Strategy, you will oversee all phases of video/photo production, manage studio and field shoots, and develop operating models to insource work previously outsourced to agencies. You will analyze production data, identify ROI and trends, and present findings to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of videographers, photographers, producers, editors and asset specialists in pre‑ and post‑production processes.
Plan, execute and manage studio production, field shoots, and asset management for brand campaigns, social, and executive projects.
Analyze internal and external production metrics to identify ROI, trends, and best practices; propose and implement improvements.
Develop and implement in‑house operating models to maximize capacity, budgetary and production efficiencies using a mix of in‑house and outsourced resources.
Collaborate with creative vendors, freelancers and cross‑functional teams to deliver production assets on time and within budget.
Present data insights and performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in video production, film, marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum ten years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, creative studio, production company, or in‑house marketing team.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and video production tools; experience with digital asset management platforms (e.g., Frame I/O, Dropbox, Wipster).
Experience managing staff of production professionals and guiding production processes from pre‑ to post‑production.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management applications (e.g., Workfront).
