Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a creative and strategic communicator to deliver programs and stories that inspire our customers. The ideal candidate for this media strategy role on the AWS Corporate Communications team has a proven track record of creating and executing media relations strategies within large, fast-moving global organizations. You will be able to demonstrate strong direct ownership of the programs you’ve run, the ability to earn the trust of internal and external stakeholders, and a history of developing, pitching, and securing high-impact media coverage. As an experienced storyteller, you’ve translated complex technical concepts into terms that people worldwide can understand.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across Amazon and provide strategic counsel to business leaders during high-profile events.
- Enjoy diving deep into industry topics to understand their impact on customers and execute programs that explain these topics to media and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in media relations and issues management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
