What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and development of scalable frontend applications using TypeScript and modern frameworks like React, Vue, Next.js, or Nuxt.js.
- Build reusable UI accelerators, templates, and libraries that enhance consistency and speed across projects.
- Apply software craftsmanship principles such as Clean Code, SOLID, design patterns, and 12‑factor app methodology to ensure maintainability and quality.
- Optimize frontend performance, SEO, accessibility, and responsive design to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Write thorough unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee reliable and robust UI code.
- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical decision‑making.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes to streamline releases.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing UI applications for improved usability and performance.
- Stay ahead of emerging frontend technologies and share innovative ideas to boost team productivity.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Collaborate with backend and platform teams to integrate APIs and data services seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of professional frontend development experience with strong expertise in TypeScript and modern UI frameworks such as React, Vue, Next.js, or Nuxt.js.
- Demonstrated ability to build reusable UI components, libraries, and scalable frontend applications.
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture and best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, design patterns, server‑side rendering, and single‑page applications.
- Experience optimizing frontend performance, SEO, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies like Jest, Testing Library, and Cypress.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools, bundlers (Webpack, Vite), and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with micro‑frontend architectures and federated modules.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless frontend architectures.
- Understanding of backend integration patterns, GraphQL, REST APIs, and real‑time data streaming.
- Contributions to open source frontend projects or UI libraries.
