Job Summary: As a Senior AI UX Designer, you’ll work with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to shape the user experience of our AI-powered products and services. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of experience design principles to integrate AI, automation, and thoughtful UX, streamlining critical workflows for financial professionals, associates and clients. You’ll champion forward-thinking, practical design concepts, and solve complex user stories through collaboration, creative problem-solving, and persuasive storytelling. Your impact will be significant in the design, architecture, and functionality of our AI suite, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our users as they move within a dynamic environment. You’ll work with various product streams and feature teams, actively contributing throughout the development process from inception to realization, spanning concept exploration, user research, and high-fidelity feature development alongside engineering teams. Your work on design optimization through usability testing, user research, and data-driven decision making will drive improvements in each iteration and major deployment.
Essential Duties
Key deliverables and responsibilities:
- Design and develop elegant AI-driven UX solutions to specific interaction/interface opportunities and ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices.
- Apply advanced knowledge to solve technical requirements and challenges. Create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction.
- Ideate and prototype to explore different options, including unexpected but workable solutions. Collaborate with the engineering team to diagram the product ecosystem, omni-channel service layers, and the customer experience.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define product vision, align roadmaps, and drive execution of cohesive, multi-product user experiences.
- Conduct persona research and apply insights to guide design and iteration of mature workflows.
- Journey map the existing experience, understand the needs of the end user and create ideal experiences
- Share tools, frameworks, and patterns to improve team efficiency and scale high-quality work.
- Continuously evolve design practice by exploring new tools, prototyping methods, and AI-driven acceleration techniques.
- Advocate for users, build alignment, and articulate design vision through compelling storytelling.
- Lead design optimization through usability testing, user research, and data-driven decision making.
- Leverage scalable design techniques by contributing to our design system
- Evangelize best practices to drive adoption of the design system and UX processes across the firm
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate will have an advanced background in product/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction and AI, with experience crafting complex, web-based products in multi-stakeholde environments. Ideally, you’ll have a portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrates your skill and experience crafting usable digital interfaces, including quantitative, qualitative, and usability testing methods.

What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from concept to scale, including 0→1 product launches and iterative improvement of mature products.
- Advanced skills in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and familiarity with prototyping tools; openness to exploring new AI-driven design technologies.
- Strong background in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
- Experience with inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies.
- Ability to work across deeply technical domains and multi-product ecosystems.
- Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills, with experience navigating cross-functional dynamics and engaging stakeholders of various backgrounds.
- Passion for AI’s role in transforming workflows and the ability to translate its potential into practical, usable design.
- Track record of elevating design teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex product design, user research, and data-driven UX improvements.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React is a plus.
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
